trawa is a fast-growing energy start-up that develops software and technology to manage the volatility of the energy market. Their mission is to build the green utility of the future from the ground up. They create direct access to renewable energy for B2B industrial companies and professionalize  energy procurement on the buyer’s side.


As a Business Development Specialist, you play a crucial role in identifying and acquiring new customers. Become part of a dynamic team committed to innovation and sustainability. Your tasks will include proactively supporting customer acquisition, maintaining existing relationships and developing tailor-made solutions. Your responsibilities:

  • Work with the founder/CEO on all sales-related aspects
  • Generate offers and manage the deal pipeline
  • Act as a contact person for our distribution and sales partners
  • Work as part of a team to identify, acquire, negotiate and close new partners and customers
  • Work closely with our product, marketing and sales teams to further improve our offering and communication of benefits
  • Participate in conversations with customers to improve your skills and understanding of the sales process
  • Determine key KPIs and create dashboards for trawa to help the team learn and grow
  • Create sales materials, from technical demos to sales presentations

Job requirements

  • Graduated with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 2+ years of track record in growth, partnership, B2B sales or similar roles at high-growth startups or comparable industries.
  • Relevant experience in consulting, startups or the energy sector is a big plus
  • You are motivated to tackle a wide range of tasks and have a “hands-on” mentality
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Basic knowledge of financial analysis
  • Very good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Good organizational and project management skills to control projects and drive them forward independently
  • Ideally, first CRM (Hubspot) and/or enterprise sales experience
